About the Artist

Kevin Wallace is an award winning painter living in Midway, Utah.  Kevin was born and raised in the West and has always had a special love for its unique and diverse landscapes, though he also enjoys traveling and seeing new places across the United States and around the world.  Growing up, Kevin always had an affinity for art and tried many mediums throughout adolescence but picked up oil painting during his college years and has preferred it ever since.  His style is heavily influenced by the work of some of his favorite painters such as Edgar Payne, Maynard Dixon, and T. Allen Lawson.  Kevin relies heavily on his plein air work for inspiration and most of his paintings begin with direct observation from life.  Kevin has a degree in history and hopes to share the stories, beauty, and culture of the West through his work.
